Hi TG 😊 The recipe does include water or vegetable stock, it's listed in the ingredients. You add it in step 2 when it says to add all the remaining ingredients. Hope that clears it up and that you enjoy the soup if you give it a try.

Hi Karen! I’m sorry to hear the veggies are still hard. That’s unusual, especially after 3 hours. It might help to cut them into smaller pieces or check if your soup is simmering at a high enough temperature. I hope it turns out well in the end. Let me know if I can help!
